🎓 GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT: Jacob Eli Carter 📍 Amory, MS Eli Carter is graduating this May with a degree in Business Administration. He’ll soon marry his fiancée, Skylar Lee, whom he met during his first semester at BMCU in 2021. Eli has accepted a position as a financial representative with Modern Woodmen of America, where he will help Mississippians with savings, retirement, investments, and life insurance. His dream is to one day start a nonprofit for fatherless children through his work as a trusted advisor. His favorite verse embodies how he wants his career to impact others: Proverbs 3:27–28 – “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Do not say to your neighbor, ‘Go, and come back, and tomorrow I will give it,’ when you have it with you.” Eli credits BMCU’s business professors for teaching him the importance of trust and integrity. GRADUATE SPOTLIGHT🎓 Jake Kimbrough has been a member of the BMCU Bass Fishing Team for three years. He is graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing. “My time at BMCU has been filled with blessings and treasured memories. Travis Educational Trust was established by the Ministerial Alumni of Blue Mountain Christian University in 1980 to honor Dr. Travis, Chairman of the Division of Biblical and Associated Studies and Head of the Department of Bible at the University. The trust provides scholarships to further the educational development of those enrolled at Blue Mountain Christian University who have committed to full-time Christian service, with preference given to men preparing for ministry.
